Korea and Russia Sign MOU on Joint Agricultural Development of Siberia

On June 2, 2016, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) signed an MOU on joint research on the Maritime Province of Siberia in a meeting with their Russian counterpart Tkachev in Xi’an, China. Both countries will draw up a mid-to-long-term plan to develop the region (with elements such as an agriculture-industry complex) by way of joint research in the future.
