The 10th special issue “Promoting Sustainable Resource Management and Inclusive Rural Development
In the face of climate change, environmental degradation, and biodiversity losses, the sustainability and resilience of traditional crops and farming practices are gaining global attention. To support their continuous development and preservation, it is essential to identify, analyze, and showcase rural development cases based on the adoption of integrated local resource management approach. This includes comparing successful community operations and development strategies at different levels of geographical scale. Special focus is especially placed on synergistic efforts among diverse community members, including Indigenous groups, ethnic groups, as well as agroecology promotion in regional development.
The 10th special issue “Promoting Sustainable Resource Management and Inclusive Rural Development” of the FFTC Journal of Agricultural Policy (FFTC E-Journal) will focus on development of community-based sustainable agriculture, sharing eco-agriculture strategies, technological innovations, and community revitalization in the Asia-Pacific region. This special issue aims to provide insights into policy frameworks, regulatory incentives, and capacity-building measures contributing to coexistence and mutual prosperity of agriculture and ecology.
We invite you to contribute to this important discourse!
