Accelerating public investments for fostering the horse industry in Korea

On April 18, 2016, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) announced that it is going to invest KRW 12 billion (approximately US$ 12 million) for 2016 so as to accelerate the plan for fostering, horse industry since it started to grow in 2012. It is for promoting the rural economy and creating new growth engine in the field of livestock industry in Korea.
