2016.03.21

On March 18, 2016, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) announced that the ministry is going to apply 50 percent lower rent and to extend the lease period if farmers and farm corporations cultivate other crops other than rice to the reclaimed land. It is for attaining the balance of rice supply and demand through alternative farming in the reclaimed land which is considered a state-owned land.
