Indonesia temporarily stops corn imports


Corn production is predicted to reach a surplus of 3 million tons in 2015.  To protect the interest of local corn farmers, the Ministry of Agriculture has temporarely banned corn imports.  This policy has raised some concerns to importers since around 400,000 tons of corn is being shipped to the country.
