MOU Signing with Myanmar for Mutual Growth of Seed Industry in Korea

On July 10, 2015, the Korea Seed & Variety Service (KSVS, Director General Shin Hyun-kwan) announced that the organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation of Myanmar. This is mainly for nurturing the rice industry as well as producing high quality rice seeds, which accounts for 35% of Myanmar’s agriculture.
