Additional Dairy Imports in Japan

On May 27, 2015, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries announced that Japan will import an additional 10,000 tons of butter and 5,000 tons of non-fat dried milk in addition by the end of this October based on “Act on Temporary Measures concerning Compensation Price for Producers of Milk for Manufacturing Use, Act No. 112 of 1965.”
