The Food and Fertilizer Technology Center (FFTC) is an international agricultural organization. The Center is based in Taipei, Taiwan, and its staff are drawn from countries in the Asian and Pacific region. The Center is internationally funded, and works in close cooperation with other international and national agricultural agencies. It has served small-scale farmers in the Asian and Pacific region since 1970 by bringing them information about new agricultural technology. All information has been provided free of charge to extension workers, researchers and scientists, and others who act as multipliers of information.
Since 2013, FFTC has expanded its information network activities to address agricultural policy issues in the Asia-Pacific region. The FFTC-AP Platform was established to enable rapid information exchange, fostering collaboration among researchers, policymakers, and practitioners. To enhance academic impact, the FFTC Journal of Agricultural Policy (FFTC E-Journal) webpage was officially launched on November 13, 2020. The E-Journal focuses on disseminating cutting-edge research and policy strategies related to agricultural challenges, opportunities, and sustainable development in the region.
